This beautiful toll for Ix Chel, the Mayan moon goddess, is a one-of-a-kind stone sculpture crafted with banded aragonite, gold and quartz inclusions, and a railcar brake shoe. This unique piece is made by Utah Fine Artist Sculptor Byron Ramos and is representitive of a sacrifice offered to the mystery and grandeur of a creator goddess who is said to wander the sky and live in the cenotes of the Mayan low-lands.
